Our program prepares you to advocate for and assist people in the community, including pregnant teens, homeless persons, special needs children and more. Under the supervision of a social worker or health care professional, you’ll help establish case histories and get background information on clients, refer them to social or community services, assess their progress and evaluate the effectiveness of their treatment programs. A field-related gives you the opportunity to apply your skills in a real work environment and gain the experience to pursue opportunities with confidence.
