Our Early Childhood Education (Post-Basic) Diploma Program follows the approved Ministry for Children and Family Development curriculum and prepares you to work with children who require extra support in childcare settings.  Our program offers advanced-level courses that will enhance your knowledge of ECE-related topics and concerns with an emphasis on supporting the needs of infants, toddlers and children with exceptionalities.

  • Learn to plan and implement program plans that focus on social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language development
  • Learn to create and support a positive learning environment that is supportive and inclusive while also being fun and creative
  • Participate in 2 field-related practicums in which you will plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs and activities while strengthening your observational and communication skills
  • Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for an Early Childhood Educator license from the Ministry for Children and Family Development
